Upon leaving the racetrack, you breathe a sign of relief because you "trusted your¬self!" Or perhaps you were driving on the frontage road and preparing to enter the freeway when you got a "gut feeling" that you should not take the freeway, but rather continue on the frontage road. Upon entering the new restaurant, you ran into an old friend that you hadn't seen in ten years and it turned out to be a very special evening. That "inner nudge" was a prompt from your intuition telling you to change your ormal routine so you could connect with the old friend. Because you trusted yourself, you were rewarded with a special surprise. Had you ignored the inner nudge, you would not have hooked up with the old friend.
