THOUGHT

Wise is the man who will think of thought;
Of the joy and sorrow it has brought.
From the inner world the outer spring;
It determines the song that man will sing.
The choice of thought, a gift of free will;
Brings love and joy or a bitter pill.
Meanness is not ordained by fate,
Its thoughts you choose that make you hate.
Think of the place that thought comes from,
From God in Heaven, or an ape that’s dumb
As a man thinks, so shall he be,
Blind as a bat or with eyes that see.
Think of how you stand, less you should fall.
Load for the grade so the train won’t stall.
If men would think thoughts honest and true,
God would grant peace to the world and you.
Thoughts come out through the hands and tongue.
Blessed is the man that learns when young.

Concepts so powerful, like the wind.
Without mercy a city it could rend.
It’s welcome power to drive a ship,
Yet control is needed for the trip.
Concepts are scattered by a wind.
They give to life or make it end.
How they’re sorted, where they fall,
Makes a man big or small.
We do not see the wind that blows,
Just the results is all man knows.
We can hear it when it howls,
As a concept all in snarls.
Some are bad and some are good.
It is commonly understood.
Which are false and which are true?
