Bare Tree-A Collection Of Poetry

Moons of Neptune Collectively,
completely spellbound
in accord with your truth
your presence
your self-preservation
I adore.
Consciously,
I abide
with little or no restriction,
no resistance
to your charms
your whims.
I nestle and settle in your arms
solemn in our soft embrace
hearts attuned harmoniously
in an overture of love
with the moons of Neptune.
Beyond Oz My path is not clear to walk on;
ahead, lies a life of entangled mysteries.
I close my eyes, pretending to be
Dorothy going home from Oz.
My heels are caught by the hands of time
and I must search another way to go home,
as the yellow brick road is closed.
Facing the uncertain future alone
with my mind
my heart and courage,
eluding the wicked witch
who threatens from all angles of the compass;
I pave my own road.
Constellations hold the blueprints
to my existence;
life holds no crescent barriers,
my heels are free to go beyond twilight
and travel in brilliant company,
beyond Oz.
