Within days of their conversation, Jean receives notification that Jason has been killed in Romania. Suddenly, her world is turned upside down. The CIA, Jason's employer, dispatches a man to help Jean through the funeral and with all the necessary arrangements. However, the CIA fails to answer all the questions Jean has concerning the accident. Their evasiveness only adds to Jean's confusion. With the assistance of Jason's best friend, Jean finds herself enroute to Europe. Eventually, they both arrive at Jason's apartment in Budapest. Speeding cars, flying bullets and nothing being as it seemed only adds mystery, intrigue and suspense
