Horizons: The Beginning and the End

WHO AM I? AND WHERE AM I GOING?

Who am I? Where am I going?
I am a man of substance, born in this
World of mysticism.
I have been given five senses, with which
I am able to gather, analyze and resolve
The things of the unknown.
In such a complex world, maybe one day I
Will find myself.
As for where I am going, that is not clear,
But I have set many goals in life;
The most important is to write what I
Consider to be my masterpiece in which its
Substance will be of such significance that
The world will be able to relate.

MY WALK

I walk a mile and many miles,
But, I always do it with a smile.
One may look at another and
say, why does he walk from day to day?
For I have a long road ahead
And I shall travel it until I'm dead,
And if I should stumble and fall, it
would have been worth it all.

MY TALK

Yesterday, I came upon a little
girl crying. When she saw me
she turned her head. I told her
that I didn’t mind because
everyone cries from time to time.
And after I had talked with her for
A while, I felt good inside because
I left her with a smile.

WHY NOT?

Like any other man I have a dream,
I dream of being something someday, Some say
there’ll never be, but so say this is not
for me.
Because I think I can fulfill my
dreams and because it’s mine, I still
dream this dream until the end of my
time.
Some say good things come to those
that wait, and I dream of one day of
becoming something great.
