It is quite obvious, by the way many theories concerning the Xf are arrogantly presented, that their originators are not taking the general mental health of Xf contactee into consideration. The often callous and egotistical attitude of many of these researchers do not reflect a position of concern for the contactee. However, the attitudes of the various scientists, researchers, and medical professionals do seem to reflect the need to prove themselves and their pet theories correct, no matter what the overall effect is upon the Xf contactee. Faith is replaced with intellectual rhetoric; self-healing powers are repressed and often ridiculed; we unknowingly become the victims of environmental hypnotism; the false placebos are planted in our minds from birth. Just as we humans can heal ourselves, we can also slowly kill ourselves. Michael Murphy sums up the power of placebos, Quote:
"In summary, then, placebo effects depend upon supportive social conditions surrounding a treatment’s administration."
So where is all the positive support for Xf contactees? Their own people (UFO researchers) tend to shun them, exploit them, categorize them, label them, and use them for self-gain. It is clear we have gone far beyond the main problems facing contactees, and addressed a much larger problem facing all of us. That is, within our technologically-based societies, faith in creation and self/soul has been systematically replaced with faith in the intellect and its various manifestations; i.e., technology/ego, the scientific myth. This is why modern societies are filled with violence; this is why most modern humans are not content; this is why many people are not functioning in a healthy way; this is why many people have the feeling that something is missing from life. When will the general scientific community accept the validity of Xf contactees? I do not know. Contactees hold the view that the universe is a place of variables, unexplainable life forms, and unlimited possibilities. Most contactees innately realize this because the power of the Xf has been slammed in their faces. We contactees feel the Xf, see it, touch it, and actually live the powerful and often indefinable experiences of it. On the other hand, the general scientific community, because they cannot truly feel the power of the Xf, or put it in a test tube, try to ridicule or label it, and contain the contactee in a neat little box of limited possibilities. Well, dear scientists, the Xf has got some news for you, and it seems to be screaming it loudly, "Not everything is scientifically explainable!" Fortunately we contactees are not alone in this awareness. Nature has many examples to back us up: bumblebees that technically cannot fly but do; the origin of life; time; black holes; tornadoes; animals that regenerate limbs. Science can’t even stop the common cold. It seems apparent that the "authority" of many scientists should be toned down until they cure cancer, arthritis, multiple sclerosis, cystic fibrosis, cerebral palsy, and global warming. There is a host of social ills, many of which science created in the first place, which also need to be addressed. At the very least, we can try and keep contactees away from the ego-based researchers. I think the Xf is saying, "People, you really know absolutely everything...about nothing!"

About the Author
Greg Heck lives on the central coast of California. The thirty-nine year old author has been a self-employed business owner since his early twenties. One of his greatest passions is social service and over the years, Mr. Heck has started several non-profit organizations. His first, Laughing Water Ranch, took people with physical challenges on outdoor experiences such as water skiing and horseback riding. His current project brings assistance to children and their families who are affected by life threatening illnesses such as cancer. Mr. Heck attributes much of his motivation for helping others to his life long experiences with unexplained energy phenomena.
