About the Book

A bad neighborhood, a bunch of cons, ex-cons, and cons-to-be, and the promise of wealth, or at least more money than they had seen before, provide a volatile mix for machinations and intrigue set in the California paradise.

About the Author

Gangsta's in Paradise is a fictional book based on some of my own experiences. Several years ago, I built three large sailing ships and have since sailed them all over the world as the sea is my passion. The boats were built on the east side of Wilmington, California, a very bad area, but somehow I was able to finish this project and get my boats in the water. No matter how far I traveled, something always drew me back to this area, and it was inspiration for Gangsta's in Paradise.

I myself grew up in this rough neighborhood: In fact I was imprisoned twice. While working on a high-rise building in the early eighties, I met the original Marlboro Man, Jim Bressi. This even led me to a career in acting, which I have now been following full-time for two years.
