About the Book
The poems in this book focus on events that affect our lives whether in love, friendship, or death. There are forces that guide us in life. As the poems are read, the readers will come away with a better understanding of the changes that occur in their lives. The poems "set up a counterpoint between what is said and what is left unsaid which in turn creates a silent dialogue between the reader and writer." The Oxford Furnace poems describe the rhythms and everyday activities in a small town. Strong people trying to survive the rigors of life. The author writes with clarity and understanding of the individual’s journey through life.
