About the Book
In a faraway land, long, long, ago, the King lay in a bed, desperately ill, struck down by the dreaded six-day sickness. The only person who had any hope for the King’s recovery was his twelve-year-old daughter, the princess Miri, whose love and courage is put to an incredible test. As the King’s grip on life weakens by the hour, the young princess must enter the strange and dangerous Forest of Dreams to find the legendary monster whose gigantic teeth may have the secret power to save the King’s life.
About the Author
As a daydreaming cartoonist who doodled his way through high school and college, filling his textbooks with unicorns, griffins, and dragons, David Sokoloff is no stranger to the realms of fantasy. A native of suburban Chicago, he has written comic strips for newspapers, greeting cards for Hallmark, commercials for radio, and a variety of stories, poetry, and songs. Mr. Sokoloff lives in Chicago with his wife, Lilly, son Tuvia, and more books than most people have seen outside a public library. This is his first full-length fairy tale.
