CHAPTER ONE - CREATION

Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior tried to teach us about The Holy Spirit during His ministry here on earth. He taught us that the same kinds of miracles and "things" which he was doing, we were capable of doing, if we would only believe and have faith. He taught us that the Law (The Ten Commandments) was necessary for its time, (kind of like unions) but now he was here to show us that we were mature enough through the Spirit to be accountable for our own actions and also to be able to be forgiven for our sinful actions. However, for those of us who are truly "of the Spirit", the need to obey the law was not forsaken because of the coming of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit, because of its righteousness, guarantees our journey will include following the law, because the Spirit, which is God, can do no wrong: Only Love and Righteousness!

It is my sole belief that we, as humans, have one specific purpose here on earth, to find True Happiness.

In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth! Unless you are an unbeliever, this is an absolute reality (if you are an unbeliever, it is still an absolute reality!).

In order for a book of this magnitude to be effective, we must have an opening chapter on the creation theory! Whether you believe in the "Big Bang" theory or if you accept the symbolic version of the Scriptures / Biblical account of creation, there is no doubt that we must address the subject of creation before we can continue this journey.

Each and every one of us who attended public or private schools in the U.S. have had, at least, a mini course in astronomy and/or physics that touched on the creation of the universe.

Those of us who are spiritual and consider ourselves well informed, realize that one only has to look at the book of genesis, chapter one, to find the symbolic biblical version of the creation of the heavens and the earth.

Whichever path you choose to take, there are similarities that we must contend with if we are to truly look at the "creation theory" and try to understand it.

The Bible being the symbolic book that it is, must be interpreted by each and every one of us, who believe, as we go through life's journey, based on where we are at that moment, in our lives.

The books of the Bible will have a different meaning and purpose as you continue to advance down the spiritual path of righteousness. As the flesh, body and mind matures, a bond develops between the Spirit and the human body (the Lord's Temple which houses the Spirit). Therefore, we will have a different level of understanding of what we read in the Bible from one moment to the next. It all depends on your particular journey.

The Bible speaks of creation as a planned and orderly happening. If we stop to examine the wonders and beauty of God's Universe, it is hard to imagine that this order "just happened". The things we take for granted, i.e. the four seasons, air, water, food, etc. We have just enough of everything, to sustain us. Sometimes, we think, not enough (not enough rain, drought, etc.). Sometimes, we think, to much (hurricanes, blizzards, tornadoes, etc.). But as God meant it to be, we always have what we need, when we need it.

If we are dealing with self imposed limitations, this may not correspond with our view of the world, but by understanding the concept we may come to a better understanding with ourselves. By self-imposed limitations, I am referring to the way we are programmed from birth by our parents and our environment as we continue to live our lives, by society's norm's and expectation's. I am not saying that one should defy their parents as children, but as you continue to mature and grow into adulthood, one should begin to think and try and understand ones relationship with God and His/Her Universe. How do you fit in? What is your purpose in life? Why are you here?

Lets talk about self-imposed limitations. This is the concept where we as humans have not embraced the spiritual reality of our oneness with God the Creator of the Universe. This oneness makes us co-creators with God and thus gives us the ability to utilize the supreme powers of God the Creator of the Universe. Since God is Omniscient, Omnipresent and Omnipotent, there is no such thing as limitations. Therefore, any lack or limitation, which we may experience, is self-imposed.

As we begin to search for answers regarding who we really are and why we are here, we must open our minds to the wonders of God's Universe and all of its powers.

We live in a self-contained perfect order universe. Nothing has been added, and nothing has been taken away since, "The Beginning". Water evaporates from the earth and falls back as rain and snow. We take resources from the ground and when we use them up they go back into the ground, etc. Over simplified, but true. Everything that we have ever needed is right here on earth, and has always been here.

The following is from the Holy Quran: The beautiful panorama of the heavens and the earth, the sun and the moon and the stars floating in endless space, testify that all this is the creation of a Great Power. The existence of order and design in this great universe where all the components function in perfect cohesion leads to the belief in the existence of a Supreme Power, who not only created, but also governs and sustains the entire universe..

It goes on to say; the entire universe is an organic whole. All of its components are

beautifully and harmoniously inter-related. Each part follows a prescribed course in a prescribed period. The sun, the moon and the stars follow their fixed paths. The earth revolves around the sun along a fixed orbit and completes the revolution in a fixed period. All submit to the laws of nature in the language of science and to the laws of God in the language of religion.
