Rottweiler
is the fourth collection of poetry written by Danny Holliday. The poetry that
Holliday writes covers all aspects of life. The primary reason for writing this
collection was to reach the youth of our nation. However people of all ages and
all cultures will enjoy this book! After Graduating from Alton Senior High
School Holliday enlisted into the United States Navy. In the Navy he graduated
from Hospital Corps School and Field Medical Training School. Holliday served
this country in Viet Nam in the 1st and 3rd Infantry
Marine Divisions and at the Battalion Hospital at the Hue Phu Bai Airport.
After
Viet Nam Holliday Married Betty Jean Woodard. From that union came three
beautiful children Kimberly Anne Holliday Joyner, Gina Nichole Holliday, and Daniel
Lamont Holliday. Mrs. Betty J. Holliday passed in 2001.
Holliday
is a former member of the Alton Museum Board, was elected to the Alton School
Board, and currently a member of the Board of the Arms of Love P. R. C. His
wife is Karen Lynn Epps Holliday and Children Karen and Keith. Danny Holliday
has been a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for twenty-six years, and is
the Pastor and Founder of Victory Baptist Church in Alton IL.
