He was known throughout the earth as the first Elder. Now there were many Elders on earth during this period of time, nevertheless, most people preferred to call Claudius---Elder. As Claudius Elder, stood quietly on his elevated balcony absorbing the fragrant air flowing from his spacious garden, the tranquil cool breeze sporadically massaged the chiseled muscles of his face into mild spasms. His home had a panoramic view of the beautiful gardens that he planted with his own hands. He then sat on his favorite chair and slowly closed his eyes. His internal eye refused to allow the lovely scene to fade away and his ears now sharpened to the reality of the enchanting sounds of his surroundings. As he meditated on sweet nothings, all seemed heavenly until the steps from a cool shadow shattered his serene still-life. “Oh, it’s just you,” Claudius said dryly as he slowly reopened his eyes to see Jerome standing in front of him with a quizzical grin on his face. “So are you just going to stand there and block my meditation with the sun?” Jerome then walked over to his friend’s mini-bar and helped himself to a cool refreshing drink. He then sat near his dear friend to get the latest gossip on the king. “…So what does Ant-choker want from you now?” “That Antichrist still has this obsession with compiling all the accounts from the survivors, and it’s driving everybody raving mad. He has the accounts from all the Elders in Cynacia. Now he wants to trouble us here in Sapphire. What more does he want?” Claudius angrily chided. “Perhaps what he really needs is a father figure to help him break his obsessions,” Jerome said with a chiseled grin. “Don’t wish him on me.” “Well---he did send an emissary to see only you.” “Everyone’s making funnies today! I’m glad you find this all so humorous you funky old alley cat. But mark my words: You’ll be next.” The Elders jeered and joked in length about all the ills on earth they mockingly attributed to the king in one way or another. Now the king, in their unrelenting gossip, had many names that his subjects and non-subjects often butchered---as Claudius and Jerome have already begun to reveal. Nevertheless-

Overview of story:
Puzzled by inconsistencies in the historical accounts of his ancestors with data collected in the archives, king Antiochus is determined to find the truth he believes is being intentionally kept from him. Like pieces of a puzzle, he compiles the stories together, but remains unsatisfied. How could the preceding generation have survived a similar catastrophe that wiped out the ancient dinosaurs? Claiming the earth's human population was once over six billion inhabitants, how was that reduced to two-hundred wandering souls in just one day? Yet in spite of their claimed losses, the survivors would establish four renowned nations; Cynacia, Palacia, Sapphire and Addae. These nations would all excel in genetic engineering and alter to varying extents, the natural aging process. This would enable their generations to live centuries in their prime. The frontier of space would become overshadowed by the quest to unlock the secrets of time manipulation. Yet this generation would unexpectedly encounter time’s ancient nemesis in their unquenchable thirst for knowledge. Nonetheless, who and from where was this ancient nemesis and what was he compiling on them? But Antiochus discovers that the answer does not come from the past as he slowly unravels a reality beyond his wildest imagination in an encounter that again alters the course of history by having the meddling king summonsed directly into the presence of the future!
About the Author
Born in He once aspired to become a minister, but recognized his independent style of thinking often made him considered too controversial for many. It is the same pattern of thinking that is incorporated in his writing, which often shows more than one side of controversial figures, as well as ideas often considered taboo. Many of the characters, beloved or hated are sure to conjure up images of persons to which the reader is already acquainted.
