About the Book

Every small town has its stories. This is the true story of two brothers trying to make sense out of the life that has been thrust upon them.

A mother who has taken them from their father into a world of abuse both physically and mentally. Exposed to much more than any child should be, Joe and Jay strive to find a normal existence.

The author has experienced something that has richly inspired her by her ongoing friendship with Joe and Jay. Her family has helped in many ways. They have helped the brothers find their father and reconcile the past.

The story is not over. As sad as it seems, the boys’ upbringing will have an everlasting impression on their life. By the generosity of their friends hopefully they will find some peace to their frightening world of abuse.
