It happened this way you see, A look, a sense, and me. Wasn’t much, but then it was, A Life. A time. Then we. "How Love Began" speaks volumes to me, I hope it will to you. Today, as you read its words, and tomorrow as you remember them you will know that ‘a life, a time, then we’ is the birthplace of all romantic love. Where romance is born, feelings give life through joy. It took our hands to place of moments long sought,
To feelings reborn as the due upon a meadow glen.
And proclaimed the feel of we, once again!
Filled the voids that made our separate lives thus far.
Closeness felt in the fragrance of tomorrow unseen,
As we touched and smiled, our hearts nature found,
And exposed the feel of now, so profound!

To Feel the Song of Seasons

About the Author
Donell Lewis, J.D., began his poetic journey into romantic love in the late 1960s and it can only end somewhere within eternity.
He is an educator, having worked and taught at Colleges and Universities for over fifteen years. He has appeared as a guest lecturer at national conferences, at various Universities and civic organizations and on radio and television programs.
He is an entrepreneur technologist, having held positions as chief technology officer for colleges and universities; as well as for a successful dot com company.
He is a soldier, a husband, a father, a lover, a friend and a mentor. A man whose understanding of other's feelings guide his every decision, he is a gentleman in the American purist sense.
