Beware of …
…Golddiggers! Long lost friends and family come out of everywhere to borrow money.
…Golddiggers! Potential suitors/mates that pretend to care about you because you’ve suddenly come into money.
…Spending too much money. Take your time, perhaps hire a financial planner/advisor.
…Lonely days. Expect them and take special care of yourself during these times. Get a massage, exercise, curl up with a good book, go shopping, go to lunch with a friend, go for a walk, take a hot bath, write in your journal, etc. Take care of yourself.
…Keeping too busy to allow yourself to travel the grieving and emotional distance. Slow down and feel the pain.
…Trying to get through “it” alone. Find the support that you need – family, friends, support group(s), professional therapist(s), etc.
…Valentines’ Day
…Your loved one’s date-of-birth
…Your loved one’s date-of-death
…Holidays. Remember the good times and strive to develop, not replace, new memories.
…Being pressured by cemetery offices to buy a double plot – one for your loved one and you. For a young widow/widower, buying a double plot could prove to be impractical, given the potential for a future fruitful second marriage.
…Becoming “too” comfortable or accustomed to receiving the survivor’s benefits – it is temporary. We, as survivors, need to plan for our own financial stability.

In life REALLY does go on, the reader is taken on a very personal journey of Benetta Price's experiences subsequent to the death of her husband, William Price. Married to her "Prince Charming" for only five years, following an eight-year friendship, then courtship, "Ben" chronicles what it was like to be widowed at 26 years of age. "Bill" was only 30 at the time of his death. He was nearly everything to Benetta, and when he died, "Ben" wanted to die too. But she didn't die. And, in deciding to live, she shows the importance of holding on to God's unchanging hand and love, a lesson from which we all can benefit. For her courageous journey from grief to finally loving herself and learning how to live her life again to the fullest, she gives God all the glory.
Parts I and II of life REALLY does go on are narrative, while Part III, entitled "What Do I Do Now?" is a self-help guide for a "new" widow or widower¾particularly a young widow or widower. This section contains helpful resource material that can be used to help plan for final arrangements of a loved one, and also includes a list of support organizations, as well as a list of occurrences to "Beware Of," from the author's perspective.
Benetta Price knows that her debut work was Divinely ordered. And because of this, she fully expects this book¾though small in size¾to be a huge blessing to numerous people in numerous ways.

About the Author
Benetta A. Price graduated from St. Pius X Catholic High School in Atlanta, Georgia. "Ben," as she is affectionately known, also attended Georgia State University and later went on to graduate from the DermaClinic Academy of Skin Care and Make-up, where she received Certification in Esthetics. She was trained as a Professional Massage Therapist at the Atlanta School of Massage, with an additional certification in Neuromuscular Massage from the Neuromuscular Therapy and Training Center. Benetta received her certification in Pregnancy and Infant Massage from Body Therapy Associates, formerly Somatic Learning Associates.
As a high-school senior, "Ben" gave her life to Christ and began her spiritual walk. She acknowledges, without reservation, that it is through God's grace and love that she has endured and survived numerous challenges and trials. Long ago, God placed on Benetta's heart the idea that you can never truly heal from a "situation" until you've helped someone else through it. Thus, her writing talent was publicly unveiled when she realized she had a sincere message of hope to convey¾a message that was only uncovered when she took a very introspective look at her own life and the paralyzing sting of the death of her young husband, William "Bill" Price. Her debut book, life REALLY does go on, is told candidly and with great detail. The reader can't help but feel every word.
Benetta, now partially disabled, is a retired massage therapist and massage therapy educator. Her two daughters, Margaret Jai Nykole and Kinzey Lauren, are now beautiful teenagers. "Bill" would be immensely proud of them.
