John pondered a few long seconds about what to do next, and then acted.
“Well, then maybe this will qualify as the evidence you need Dean Wilson,” John said as he reached into his overcoat and produced from his large breast pocket a packet of pictures and a small reel of eight millimeter film encased in a tin container.
“I hope you will understand, Dean, that I can’t let you keep this evidence. It’s not that I don’t believe you are trustworthy; it’s just that, even though the chances may be remote, I don’t feel I can take the slightest risk of having this information fall into the wrong hands; an event which would, as I said before, jeopardize the entire project. I assume you still keep your projector in your office closet?”
“Yes, John, I still keep it on hand for viewing film on archaeological digs, etc. I’ll get it for you.”
The Dean then got up and walked over to the closet and retrieved the projector, set it up on his desk, and plugged it in. He next carefully alligned and aimed the projector towards the only white wall in the room, a wall which by design was conveniently located opposite his desk. John drew the shades and locked the door before loading the film.
As John loaded the film, he began to explain to the Dean what he was about to be shown.
“As I told you, Dean Wilson, on our fifth expedition into the project area, we came across a Sasquatch which had fallen off what I estimated to be a thirty foot high cliff, and had suffered a compound fracture to its left leg. We had antibiotics with us, and various other kinds of medical supplies, including bandages and splints, therefore we decided we would do what we could to help the creature. The Sasquatch was initially most wary of us and tried to weakly flail his arms at us if we got too close. He was, however, much too weak to stand, and with his leg in the shape it was, with the bone protruding and all, he was not about to go anywhere.”
John at this point had just finished feeding the film through the projector.
“There, that does it. Can you get the lights for me, please, Dean?”
The Dean stepped over to the light switch next to the entrance door and flipped the lights off, then resumed his seat as John turned the projector on. There was not much light in the room other than that given off by the projector, but there was enough so that John could clearly see the Dean’s mouth unconsciously drop open as the first images from the film appeared on the wall.

Pinchot Encounter is a gripping tale of a young boy’s encounter with a lone sasquatch in the state of washington while on vacation with his parents in the gifford pinchot national forest, and how this event alters the course of his life by inspiring him to commit himself to a lifelong quest to achieve permanent, scientifically verifiable contact with the sasquatch species. While on this quest as an adult, the adventures he experiences, and the surprising discoveries he makes with regards to the origin of the sasquatch, their purpose here on earth, and their relevancy to the human race makes for interesting and exciting reading.
Pinchot Encounter gives answers to the questions millions have asked themselves about the sasquatch, and is must reading for anyone who is even remotely interested in the sasquatch phenomenon.
About the Author
Having a father who was an editor of a newspaper, and an uncle who has had articles published in national magazines, along with being a journalism major, and an award winning writer on his college newspaper, causes one to tend to believe that Robert Robinson must have writing inscribed in his genes somewhere.
Working most of his life in the oil business, Rob nevertheless has always had an interest in writing his entire adult life. With the publication of Pinchot Encounter one of Rob’s long time goals has been met, and we can only hope there will be more publications to follow.
