Good Versus Evil in America

It’s amazing how the government thinks it needs to play mommy and daddy to every adult and child in our society. Let’s take cigarette smoking and tobacco use as an example. The government doesn’t think any adult can make that decision for themselves. Since the government learned from prohibition days that they can’t just outlaw smoking and tobacco use, they decided to go after the tobacco companies. As a result of all the lawsuits, the prices have skyrocketed on all tobacco products, which, by the way, people are still using. Next on the government’s hit list were guns. Even though the second amendment says everyone can bear arms, the government doesn’t think we are capable of making that decision. They attempted to go after the gun manufacturers but not with much success. Since automobiles kill more people than guns, I guess the government will be going after the automobile manufacturers soon. Do you see a pattern forming? If this keeps up, pretty soon the government will be telling you what kind of toilet paper to buy and when you can use it! Ah, yes. Isn’t freedom wonderful?

Folks, every day, in every way, you’re losing more and more of your God-given freedoms. You better wake up before it’s too late. We already have the World Trade Organization and there is talk about having a World Government. If that comes about, you better believe an American will NOT be at the top running it. How many Americans have held the top position at the United Nations? If an American is not at the head of the World Government, you may as well use the Declaration of Independence for a doormat because it will be that useless! The Bill of Rights will be equally useless. Like it or not, your guns will be confiscated and you won’t be able to do a thing about it! Our forefathers fought and died for our freedom and now they are talking about placing our future in the hands of someone who will surely be from a foreign country. Now is the time to let our government leaders know how you feel about this. Don’t wait until it’s too late to do anything about it. The World Government leader could be the anti-Christ for all we know. Is that whose thumb you want to be under? The removal of your freedom to smoke and your freedom to own a gun are just the beginning. Think about it.

Does anyone else find it unusual that our government has removed God and prayer from all public venues, schools, sporting events, etc., yet both the House of Representatives and the Senate start each day with a prayer? They each have their own chaplain! Correct me if I’m wrong, but the last time I checked, both the Senators and the Representatives are housed in PUBLIC BUILDINGS! Isn’t it funny how the law doesn’t apply to them? I’ll bet there are a lot of Senators and Representatives who smoke and own guns, too! Think about it.

Ever since the 60’s and 70’s, when prayer was removed from our public schools and abortions became as easy to come by as a pack of chewing gum, our country has been on a downhill run. Before these two occurrences, you never saw elementary school children smoking, using drugs, having sexual intercourse or getting pregnant. All of these things are taking place today as this book is being written. Instead of our government leaders keeping prayer out of our schools, they should get down on their knees and beg for God’s forgiveness and direction! Instead of trying to keep cigarettes away from the public, they should be concentrating on all the illegal drugs that have invaded our country and can be bought by school children in every city, town and village in our country! Instead of allowing innocent babies to be ripped from their mothers’ wombs and tossed out with the trash, they should do all in their power to promote adoption! Instead of trying to take guns away from law-abiding citizens, they should come up with more stringent punishments for those who break the law using a gun! Instead of keeping God away from our school children, they should remove all the pornography and smut from the Internet and the sex and violence from our movies, TV shows, music and video games! And last, but certainly not least, instead of listening to the special interest groups who shower them with money, they should start listening to the American public who voted them into office! They should start listening, also, to their inner souls, which will be damned for all eternity if they don’t change their ways!
