About the Book

He understands the special needs of young people with respect to strength training and helps youngsters maximize their potential while minimizing their risk of injury.

“Sensible Strength Training” is Tim’s fifth book.  He has authored over four dozen articles in a number of professional journals as well.  The goal of this text is to present general strength training concepts and techniques to developing young people in such a way that they can apply and use them immediately.
