About the Author
In second grade, Lori’s teacher gave each student a piece of green, three-lined handwriting paper. The assignment was to write a sentence in which all of the words started with the letter a. Lori filled the front and back of the paper. From that moment, writing became her hobby and her passion.
After receiving a degree in English Education from the University of Delaware, she became an English teacher. However, she kept her own dreams of becoming a writer hidden. Then one day her husband asked her about the spiral notebooks piling up next to her bed. After she confessed to her “secret” hobby, he bought her a laptop to pursue her dream.
Within months, her first novel was finished. As she began to share her writing, friends and family encouraged her to publish The Conditions of Grace.
