“A Lookout”
To each day, a new prayer.
To every new sunrise, a blessing.
To each song of the bird to the wet dew.
Thank you, thank you! Great spirit, for
every day is new. Thank you for every
sunset, to each creature of the night.
Among you, we close our eyes with a
blessing!
“Morceled Wave”
Darkness followed us.
On this sunny day of joy.
Back and forth; we sway.
On this sunny, dreadful day.
Morceled wave;
around and back we stay!
These feelings; must have thought.
Awakened by thoughts of dreadful ways.
Hatred filled days.
What ever happened to those friends of way?
Tense feelings of a sweaty body of a man.
Lost in the blinding streams of black.
Kindness is light; night is right.
Morceled wave;
in flight every night.
An abundance of joy;
covered with a tent of darkness.
Mothers, fathers, brothers and sons;
are we ready; for the sleeping sun?
Our dirty will is gone!
Breathless and wide, we stare.
Thought and time; how powerful you are.
Powerful, strong; piercing my soul.

Worker to a car salesman to a manager of a car dealership. This gives the author a perspective of all ways of life.
