About the Book

Millions of people in the United States have various problems with food that are unrelated to nutrition.  There are many contradictory ideas, turf wars between various doctors, nutritionists, chemists and other scientists.  Individuals extol the supposed virtues of a single idea such as vegetarianism, severe caloric restriction, low fat, low carbohydrate, high intake of omega 3’s, B vitamins, or vitamin C, and high or low intake of various other nutrients.  There are books to cover all these subjects, invariably pushing the idea that, whatever dietary rule is being promoted, it is the best diet for all people.  Here is where these books fail.  Everyone is a unique individual who has available to them the ability to identify what diet works best for them.  Once found, it will be The Last Diet.

About the Author

William (Bill) Crowell was born and raised in Shelbyville, Tennessee.  His dietary interest began in his youth when he often ate wild game including deer, squirrels, frogs, rabbits, dove, quail, and pheasant.  He earned his B.S. from the University of Tennessee in 1974.  At the university he was exposed to myriad variations of diet.  Afterwards, his interest in dietary problems soared when he discovered the scientific contradictions of being allergic to many highly nutritious foods.   His search for the solution to food related health problems led to the discovery of important rules that are neglected or ignored in today’s dietary science.
