Author’s Introduction
Attacking Terrorism at its Roots
In the Tradition of Muhammad,
Prophet Muhammad said, “The Terrorist is in Fire.” This means that according to
the Prophet Muhammad, anyone who engages in terrorist activities will be thrown
on their faces into Hell.
This revelation of God to
Muhammad is a great sign of God’s Knowledge. It reveals to us how the Al-Mighty
God knows everything about the future and knows that some Muslims, Jews,
Christians, etc. would commit these crimes of terrorism in a future age, in the
name of God and their religion.
No one knows the future except
God, who revealed to Muhammad that many religious people would terrorize others
because of their religion. Excuse me, not because of their religion, but
because of the misunderstandings of their religion through incorrect and
mistaken interpretations of the words of God and wrong interpretations of the
dreams of some of these religious followers.
We will explain in this book how
and why Eric Robert Rudolph, from an organization called the Army of God,
killed and injured innocent people in the 1996 Olympic bombings; how and why
the foolish Jewish man assassinated the hero of peace, Isaac Rabin, former
Prime Minister of Israel; and, how and why many other Muslims and non-Muslims
continue on this rampage of bloodshed, killing innocent people in the name of
God.
It is our duty to teach the terrorist people
who commit these crimes in the name of God and religion, that God and religion
is innocent from their actions. Their behavior is opposite of the teachings of
God, the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, Moses, Abraham and the words of
Jesus the Christ.
For example, the Arabic word for
“Muslim” literally means, “All the people who are around him are safe from his
hand and his tongue.” And Jesus said in the Gospel of Matthew, “Blessed are the
peacemakers, for they will be called the sons of God.” (5:9)
I consider all the religions to
be working together as a symphony. Each Holy Book explains the other and
supports the other. Each Holy Book trusts the other, completes the other and
relies on the other. You could not understand any of these books separate,
without understanding the other books.
If you look on the surface of the
Holy Books you will find contradictions, even within each Holy Book itself. But
if you look to the depths of the Holy Books, you will see the unity inside of
them; the unity of God and the unity of humanity.
This plan to attack terrorism at
its roots discussed in these five interviews is addressed to the beloved people
of America, the Senate, members of the House of Representatives, the
Administration of America, CIA, FBI, National Security Department of America,
Homeland Security, and to every honorable person seeking peace for the world
and hoping for all humanity to live in harmony, tolerance and love as one
family submitting to one God, the Father of Jesus, the God of Abraham, Isaac,
Jacob, Muhammad, Moses and all the other honorable Prophets and Messengers,
regardless of religion, origin, race, language, color etc.

My Journey with Terrorists is
the first book in a series of books titled Read with Dr. Eid:
Between the Lines. These books are based on many interviews in which the
doctor has participated throughout his life on a variety of subjects including
medicine, religion, agriculture, the social life, sexuality etc.
About the Author
Professor Dr. Ahmad S. Eid has
spent many years of his life in different jails overseas because of his courage
to speak out against terrorism in countries where freedom of speech is
prohibited. A native of Syria, the doctor has faced five assassination attempts
by terrorist leaders for expressing his opinions about freedom, religion, human
rights, and democracy in many countries of the Middle East.
Since his arrival in America in
January, 2002, Dr. Eid has been working with Congress and the Administration of
America through his organization, the International Movement for World Peace
centered in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to alleviate the threat of terrorism in America
and throughout the world.
