About the Book

This cook book is filled with delicious recipes that will delight your taste buds and stir up the “chef” within you. Also, for a grin, we’ve included some crazy facts, and several illogical pot laws, past and present. In addition, we added a few interesting illustrations describing the abundant uses of hemp. You may be surprised to learn the truths about medical marijuana, including the short and long term effects on our minds and bodies.  These recipes are the healthy choice for patients in pain.

ARRESTING THE PAIN, NOT THE PATIENT

About the Author

Sue Watson has been writing most of her life. Her versatile writing skills are not limited to any one genre of writing. As entertainment editor of her local college newspaper Sue had her own column and wrote straight news. This led to writing for a local entertainment magazine. She has written scripts and themes for fashion shows, is a published poet and has helped in the writing of a successful novel.

Soon after a disabling spinal cord injury, Sue became a medical marijuana patient and joined Green Cross Patient Co-op (G.C.P.C.). She began volunteering at G.C.P.C. almost three years ago and has been the clinic director for the past year. Sue’s dedication to the patients is commendable. Her desire is to see all who are sick and in pain, medicated; whether it be by smoking, drinking, or eating the healing gift from God, marijuana.

Robert Appleton has been writing full time for about 11 years. His first book, I Used To Chase Feelings, was a true story written in the first person. It dealt with prison life and second chances. Later he wrote, Running Out Of Road, a crime thriller which was inspired by actual events. He has written numerous essays such as, Ten Things Your Auto Insurance Company Doesn’t Want You To Know, “Don’t Show Until You Know“ and many more. Robert is writing a fiction thriller titled: Shaded City, which he plans to have completed by 2004.

Robert’s decision to work with Sue on this current project, The Feel Good Cook Book, was based on his deep desire to help those who are suffering needlessly. Most “patient” problems are due to out-dated laws, lack of knowledge and far too many twisted facts.
