About the Book

The novel, "The Physics of Murder," takes place in the halls of academe. George Matsen, a professor of physics at Indiana University, Bloomington, is murdered with a bowling ball in full view of his class of more than 200 students. But the murder is done so cleverly that none of the students sees who did the deed. The task of trying to solve the mystery falls to the campus police led by Bill Bradford, who uncovers a tangled web of sexual liasons. Helping Bradford in his quest to discover the murderer are Amy Burton and Sol Greenfield, two graduate students in physics, who barely escape being killed themselves before finding out who did the deed.
