About the Author

Susan Gail Cline was born on the Island of Galveston, Texas, raised in the Texas Gulf Coast Region. She now lives in Indianapolis, Indiana with her husband and two children.

She has been writing since she was four years old, an accomplished Poet since the age of fifteen, her work published repeatedly throughout the United States and the world.

An advocate for the Native American Culture, she penned THE SONG OF STRONG WIND, produced and released in 1990 by Triumph Records. All proceeds have gone back to the Native Community in some way, as does a portion of all proceeds from her work. She contributes to programs concerning children, families, and the community.

In 1999, she published WARRIOR WOMAN - Native American teachings For Healing The Girl Within for the purpose of workshops and lectures.

She has traveled the United States in her efforts to educate and encourage those of Native descent and interest. She remains involved in Native American organizations that promote the beauty of The Culture.

Having grown up in a diverse environment, her work reflects many worlds and ideas, reflecting her love for the many colors of humankind. She has spent her adult life studying religions and cultures of the globe, becoming a bridge of understanding between peoples and customs.

She was given an Indian name by The Ottawa in 1993.

Her landmark novel, “rojo” anchored her work as a writer into agile cognition, delighting readers of every distinction and gustatory perception.

Her courier trademark is shock, surprise, the forbidden, hallmarked by love of family and community that eclipses all distress.
