One Couple's Journey To An Intimate Relationship

During our prayer and praise time on October 5, 1998, the Lord spoke to us the following:  “The window is open – when the glory and the presence is there, I move.  I change people and situations.”  God was speaking to us about the importance of prayer and praise together as husband and wife.  God said the most important thing we do is what we were doing – praising and praying as husband and wife.  He told us to mentor and teach other couples to praise, worship, and pray together.  The Lord gave the following result:  “I in My presence then move before them as a snowplow, removing all obstacles, all resistance.  My presence, My power, My glory is the most important.  The snowplow of the Holy Spirit comes and plows deep, clearing away all debris.”

Is. 26:7 (NIV) “The path of the righteous is level; O Upright One, You make the way of the righteous smooth.” (snowplows going before us)

Journal – January 18, 1999

Experience Me – experience My presence, My wonder, My power – as you pray together.  Oh, glorious are the days ahead in My presence, My power.  And yes, fires shall expand this year – as you mentor others and they grasp the torch of prayer and run.  Fire, fire, fire!  Burning bushes of My making, of My design.  Houses becoming homes as husbands and wives pray in unity together – banishing all fear, depression, and hopelessness from their midst.

Do not accept the resistance when it comes. Bind together. Pray against it. Push it back – back. It must go as you use My name, Jesus, and apply the blood!

Most of all remember His promises “as houses become homes of praise, worship, and prayer.”

Journal – March 23, 1999 – The Results of Worship in the Home

• As couples pray together – He turns houses into homes.
• Unity of husband and wife. Unity of entire family.
• Each home becomes a burning bush – a fire, a light. Continual fire of Holy Spirit in the home.
• The fire consumes those things of the evil one.
• The distortions of the enemy – on us – on our children – will be burned off by His fire.
• We shall become the gem He created us to be. He loves us to life.
• The creation of the Creator shall come forth.
• No longer rebellion to walk our own way.
• Strengthens discernment.
• Fear, depression, and hopelessness are banished from your midst.
• Submission to an awesome and powerful God. To believe Him. To believe what He says about us.

We must enter into His fire, His power, to become a manifestation of His glory.

This is accomplished through praise, worship, and prayer. God is calling the husband and wife to take their place as worshipers in their home. This will raise up a whole generation of worshipers. This will return the altar of worship to the home, therefore, making worship more glorious when we come together as the Body of Christ to worship and praise Him.
