About the Book

Every day when passing people on the streets I was compelled more and more to write a book and share my story wondering if anyone would exchange their life for mine. In my book I share with you what it was like for a young man to grow up In the City of Brotherly Love (Philadelphia) having experience my mother go to prison for murder and being forced into a life on the streets only to have those very streets become my family and protection. While writing I often found myself crying or smiling at the fact of being able to even share my experiences with you. I also made sure I kept it one hundred as they say in the hoods today and spoke to you as If I was speaking to my mother. We (Masons) use that term in masonry to outline how our conversations should be with each other. I know for a fact the only way you will benefit from what I write is to be candid. While reading you will find we share pains and have stories that are very much alike. I would love to hear your comments and for you to join me in spreading a message of motivation and adversity to those that are frozen by indecision and need leadership and direction back into this world of opportunity. What Legacy Will You Leave Behind!

I have four brothers and one sister. I been around the world, but life for me begin growing up on the streets of Philadelphia. I can’t describe to you what a silver spoon looks like. I have seen some of the worst conditions life has to offer. During my travels, I must have lived in fifty or more different homes or places I called home. I know what it is like not to have. Despite all my misfortunes God has been good to me. I served 12 years in the United States Army. Within those years I have spent three years in Iraq, three years in Korea, 6 months in Saudi Arabia, three years in California and six years in Columbus Georgia. I have had my share of relationships and a woman has always been my strength and support. I must say, I learned something new in all my courtships. I am blessed to be here and constantly thank God for every minute and second of each day, I am alive. As I look back on all the things I have been through I realize that I Always Loved Life but never lived it. So I try everyday to do something positive and take advantage of every opportunity to better myself and live life to its fullest while overcoming any obstacles. God Bless You
