About the Book

In the 1970’s, a Soviet Union space probe brought back a living Venusian child. Now, the Venusians want it back. They send a deadly seeker, a tall humanoid creature, to find and retrieve the infant, but a navigational error lands the spacecraft in Montana where the seeker goes on a killing spree of both men and livestock. Mike Jenner, Idaho rancher and ex-Army Officer, is determined to destroy the seeker after finding a hired hand hideously killed and then the merciless death of his girlfriend’s father.

This novel takes you one step beyond the Soviet Union’s actual landing of Vernera 13 on Venus and its stealthed return vehicle to what the Russians are doing today with the material they retrieved. It takes you with Mike Jenner’s fight to overcome his chronic anger and express his love for Ellen Townsend; Air Force Major John Sullivan’s attempt to communicate with the Venus space ship and locate and return the Venusian child, a reptilian-like being, from Russia: and Mike and Ellen’s battle and annihilation of the deadly seeker.
