His devotion to family and friends and his devotion to work and the union were a mark of his heritage and birthplace. Lucky for us, his descendants, to have inherited some of his admirable traits. Not all Americans of Italian heritage are Mafioso or members of La Casa Nostra. The majority were hard working, devoted to their families and proud of their Italian heritage and ancestry. I dedicate this book to my father, William Faraone, who like Patsy, his father , my grandfather, possessed the same attributes. In many ways it is a story about both of them. The Ultimate Reprisal is a work of fiction, loosely, based on actual events over the last century. As if not enough, they lost their sons and daughters in World War II. It is as well a tribute to their dedication and sacrifice to make a better life for us all. Let us never forget them!!!
