About the Book

I have, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit of God, decided to condense into book form the truths that have brought me to the place, where I now enjoy the great blessings of God, throughout my entire life. After teaching these truths at the Word of God Ministries, I am receiving a constant stream of praise reports, telling me how God is working miracles in the lives of our church members and their loved ones.

I believe that, while most Christians believe that God can do all things, they don’t believe that God will do all things for them. It is for this reason that I wrote this, highly anointed, book. It is my prayer that the words, in this book, will be used, by the Holy Spirit, to open your eyes to the truth. Jesus said that “you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free”. The truth is that God is no respecter of persons. If he did something for one person, then he will do it for you.

This book will take you on a great journey through the life of Abraham, the father of faith. The experiences of his life while growing to become the great man of faith will help us to understand our own faith walk. As you walk with Abraham, I believe that your faith and your ability to trust God will take you to places that you have never imagined possible. It is my belief that when your faith is right, you, like Peter, will walk on water.

Remember—”When your probabilities and your likelihoods become filled with God’s possibilities, they become eminent.

About the Author

On August 6th 1961, Stephen Horton was born the youngest of eight children. He grew up in a small city called Wilson, NC. He grants a lot of the glory for his success to the undying love and devotion that he received from his mother, Mrs. Eula Pearl Horton. “Satan knew that Stephen was an anointed vessel of God, and thus tried, during his childhood, to take him, through much sickness, but I say today that God shielded and protected him”.

Stephen received Jesus as his Savior at the young age of twelve. When he was only fourteen years old, he preached his initial sermon at the Evening Light Holiness Church. He spent a minimum 3 hrs per day studying at the home and tutorage of Mother Emma Leach.

On July 3rd 1993 Stephen was wed to his loving wife, Lucy Mae Horton, who serves as his co-pastor. Lucy had two children, Jacqueline and John Crudup, who has now become a bright spot in the life of Apostle Stephen Horton.

After 25 years in the ministry, Stephen founded the Word of God Ministries. He has a great healing ministry and is available for conferences.
