I Can Walk on Water

Introduction

Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not seen.”

There are several distinct levels of faith. What you achieve in life is primarily based on the faith level you stand in. The bible declares that all things are possible to him that believes.

Many Christians have asked me a question that has bothered me for a long time. They would usually approach me right after I had preached a faith building sermon. I would have just finished telling them that with faith in God and his Word all things are possible, when someone would say to me; Apostle, you don’t understand, I believe God and I obey his commands yet it seems like my prayers just fall onto deaf ears. Then he/she would ask me, with tears in his/her eyes, “What’s the matter, why can’t I get MY prayers answered?!”

I would usually give them that old predetermined, programmed answer. You know the kind of answer they teach you to give at the Bible Institute.        I would tell them to just keep on believing. I would usually end the conversation with something like this: “you must realize that God is a sovereign God; He answers prayer in His own way and in His own time”.         I never really liked that answer but it gave me a way out. If the truth be known, I really didn’t have an answer to their question.

Introduction

The more I thought about the subject, however, the more it bothered me. It bothered me so much until I finally began to seek the face of God for a real and definite answer.

After a series of restless nights, waking up in the early hours of the morning to pray and seek God’s face, He gave me the answer I had been looking for. Now, I am writing this book for the millions of Christians who, just as I was, are seeking for the secret to getting their prayers answered. I don’t mean the little things like healing a headache or getting your light bill paid, but the big things, the kind of life changing prayers that, when they are answered, will transform your entire life and lifestyle.

God wants to bless you. He is able and has everything you need. The hinder is not in God, but rather, in the way you think and believe. So, I beseech you to read this book with a prayerful spirit and an open heart and mind. If you do, then just like Peter, you too will walk out on the water to go to Jesus.

Faith that Works
Understanding the Different Levels of Faith

I woke up at 3:33 am one Wednesday morning only to receive what I believe to be one of the greatest truths in my Christian life. I was praying to God; asking him to allow me to see his glory, when the issue of whether or not I believe him came up. I said to the Lord; “I believe that all things are possible with Christ”. The Holy Spirit then responded with a gentle voice and said, “I know that you believe that all things are possible with God, but do you believe that it is probable? Do you believe that God will do all things for you?” Needless to say, I was stunned into a state of shock. You must understand that the Holy Spirit had just uncovered doubt that I (before that night) had not realized was in my heart.

†It is vitally important to identify and eradicate any doubt that may be in your heart. Doubt, you see, is the negative force which cancels out the works of faith.

The Holy Spirit of God enlightened me to a great truth, which I promised to share with Christians around the world. God showed me a truth that has literally changed every aspect of my life. He allowed me to see and to understand the different levels of faith. Now, because of this knowledge, my goals and achievements are boundless.
