Fire and Ice

I Walk through Fire and Ice

to arrive at my destination

although the path is filled with pain

I shall continue along this road,

through hell

till I reach the end of my journey

and arrive at last,

upon the doorsteps of heaven .

Alone

All alone I sit

Waiting for someone to show.

Wait is all I ever do,

Doesn''t anyone care?

Alone I lay watching the clock,

The calendar, moves quickly and quietly.

This is what I call depression,

Where no one cares,

or even shares,

A moment with me,

when they say I don''t spend time with them,

But really they don''t spend time with me.

What have I done to deserve this shit that I take.

What do I do to make the chain break?

All alone I sit

Guiding Hand

once upon a time

I cut My heart out,

for the pain of having one was to great.

Then a light showed in the dark,

it sang of love,

and I didn''t know what that was.

So I ran and hid in the shadows,

wrapped in numbness,

and darkness,

till one who loves,

with a pure heart

came and took my hand

and I never have to go

into the dark night alone again.

Path

He walked along the shadows of light

With pain in his heart,

Worry on his mind,

Anguish in his soul.

Never in, never out of life,

He was neither living, nor dying

He was just existing.

Till one day, two dark angels entered his life,

They told him he needed a new path to travel,

And led him to a clearing.

They said to him, we cannot guide you,

But we can stand beside you,

Catch you when you fall,

Praise you when you succeed.

He looks upon the path in front of him,

Though he is full of fright, he takes that first step,

To the ones outside looking in it might be small,

But in his soul it was the biggest step of his life.

He knows it''s just a start,

On a long path to peace,

But he knows, in time he will find what he needs,

Within his own being.

How do I know this, cause he is me.
