About the Author

Michael A. Dantley is a native of Washington, D.C, a Classic car collector with over 80 models, and a member of the ‘Million Miles or More of  Motoring AutoClub of the Nation’s Capital.’  With over 35 years of ‘behind the wheel’ experience, his candid insight seems to lend a clearer vision of what motorists today need to be aware of on our Interstates and roadways far and wide.  His keen knowledge and penetrating observations of  the ‘Interstate shuffle’ around Washington, D.C.’s Capital Beltway system cautions each of us to either ‘Drive ahead, get over, or Get on a Bus.’

With more than a million miles on American roadways, having faced travel  conditions from extreme to delightful, he makes this book difficult to put down because he says how we all have felt at one time or another while behind the wheel.

Your first mission is to select an automobile that YOU can actually maneuver.  Then, you’ll need to train your eyesight to encompass Total Road Visibility (TRV).  And lastly, but no less important, learn to stay WITH the flow, move far right if you’re slow, and stay off the Interstates if you’re not out there to GO, GO, GO!
