About the Book

LITTLE FLAGGER At The Races is a book derived from an actual talking doll that comes to life in this story. LITTLE FLAGGER is the flagman who tells about the colors and meanings of flags used throughout the start to finish of the race. These flags show the drivers what to do in different situations they deal with during the race. At the end of the competition there can be only one winner.

It is packed with pages of full color illustrations. This book is a fresh and different approach to teaching the sport of racing. For ages 4-10 and older people who love to read to children.

About the Author

Marylin has always been a person who looks for ways to be creative. She was a Sunday School teacher, youth leader, and teen activity co-ordinator for twenty years in the Sandusky, Ohio, area. She is a wife of one, a mother of three, and a grandmother of eight. She resides in Centerville, Ohio, near Dayton. She works out of her home.

She has a passion for NASCAR which is stock car racing. She rode in a NASCAR going 165 m.p.h. Loving the sport inspired Marylin to write this book and create a talking doll named LITTLE FLAGGER. In the book LITTLE FLAGGER uses the same phrases.

Marylin hopes the book and the talking doll will give the fans or everyone a little humor to go along with the sport of racing.
