DOMESTIC SYMBOLS

Domestic symbols represent all family matters in the dreamer’s daily waking life. Some symbols relate to activities that will manifest in the future; others relate to the present, which are already in effect. Some dream symbols that relate to the past are usually those symbols of memories from which the dreamer has already learned the lesson. An alligator, unless you kill it, augurs a very serious message from your subconscious that should not be overlooked. These small and very busy insects represent ambition towards the dreamer’s goals in his or her waking life. You may be very involved in an industrious project or an organization. Perhaps you have a desire to be involved in an organization that interests you most. The harder the ants are working, the more successful the project will become in waking life.

ANT:               NEGATIVE                FUTURE

If the ants are pests in the inside of your home, it is an indication that you will experience small and petty vexations in your business or your usual daily activities.

ANTIQUE:                 NEUTRAL                  PAST/PRESENT

This is an old idea which can be beneficial in your present waking life. What nostalgic item or items did you see in the dream? What does it or they represent to you in your waking life? Are there some old issues that need to be resolved in the present? Are there thoughts that are unforgettable? These are subconscious memories that surface to your conscious occasionally, that are reminders not to repeat the same mistakes of the past. This symbol may also be a good omen for your family affairs in your present waking life.

This symbol signifies that, like a blacksmith reshapes metal, you are reshaping your life in some way for the better, a change in plans or lifestyle.

An apple is a good omen if ripe and fresh. If the apple is rotten, consider what you don’t feel right about in your present life. What might be rotten or ruined now in your present waking life?
