About the Author

Michael Scott has been driving a wheat truck for the Janzen Family Farm for six years.  A Special Education Teacher by profession, he was inspired to write Harvest Time when Russell Janzen, a fifth generation farmer on the Janzen Farm, said “I never get to ‘see’ harvest.  I don’t know what harvest looks like.”  Michael asked Kris Janzen to help with the photographs and Harvest Time was born.  This is Michael’s first book, and a tribute to Grandpa and the Janzen family.  He hopes you enjoy reading it as much as he enjoyed writing it.
