Tears for Dad

A soldier came to see my mom today
It’s about my dad he has been way.
Please lord let him be alright dear lord I pray.
Then I saw the tears in my mother’s eyes
The soldier said something to make mom cry.
Then she came to me and held me real tight I told
Her it will be alright.
She told me that my dad had died I held my tears
I did not cry.
I had to be strong for my mom.
I held her hand as we went inside.
I went and asked God why then I cried.
Then I saw the protestors on T.V.
I wish they could feel the pain in me.
My dad died so others can be free.

Have we forgotten 9/11?

Have we forgotten 911 when all the
When all the people went to heaven?
The day the planes came out
Of the sky when all Americans stood
And asked why?
It was because of people and all the hate
That sent all those people to the pearly gate.
Hold on to your friends before it’s too late
People come and people go but do not turn
Your friends into your foes.
Remember what happen on 9/11 and pray
for them up in heaven.
Love and peace to all and never
Let a friendship fall.
