Easier To Love
1COR 13:1-13, ROM 13:8-10
Why do you walk around jealous?
Fill your hearts with envy and greed
Why carry this baggage on your spirit?
Is insecurity something you need?
Why is it so hard to forgive?
You store malice and fury in your heart
Why bind yourself carrying this hatred?
Free yourself; clip the chains from your heart
You let people dictate how you feel
Do they really deserve this control?
Why give them so much of your power?
When this power’s what makes you feel whole
You push and you shove in the lines
Get enraged the way some people drive
So you give them a piece of your mind
Is this the way Christians survive?
You hate people because of their color
Does it help to be thinking so small?
Why waste energy on something so trivial?
Understand that our God made us all
You carry much pride in your heart
Your ego’s as big as the sea
Why is it so hard to help others?
You see homeless in need and you flee
Countries are fighting in wars
They dispute and they kill for God’s land
Why is it so difficult to share?
It’s the pride and the greed of a man
You must recognize the tricks of the devil
He gets glory when you push and you shove
Why keep negative thoughts in your spirit?
When it’s so much easier to loveÓ

About the Author
Norris Williams is an individual who is in strong pursuit of spiritual growth. He recognizes that as human beings we operate in two separate worlds, yet each of the worlds have a powerful effect on one another. These worlds are the physical and spiritual worlds. He recognizes that the words that we’re exposed to and that are allowed to infiltrate our spirits have power and that the words we choose to believe will in fact impact our personalities, our lifestyles, and the very fiber of our beings. Man is virtually a product of the words he exposes himself to and the words he chooses to believe. No one gets his wisdom through osmosis. Wisdom comes from the words we study and read or the words we listen to via the media or conversation, and we get our wisdom through an experience, which is some way, or another tied to word. That’s why Norris believes that God’s word is the ultimate word. Everyone in this world believes in something, whether you believe in God or not. And these beliefs are based on your word exposure. His quest is to get people to understand who they are and whose they are. This desire is to get people to think about the things they say and do. He writes in a simple, yet very thought provoking form. God has given him a unique ability to take scripture and put them into poetry and really help you understand what the scripture is saying. The Holy Spirit inspired every piece of his book.
