Inner Visions of My Inner visions of my mind
Of various points of view
Caught within this space & time
Of all that I’ve been through
Happy moments and sad goodbyes
And current events of the day
Sporadic lows and distant highs
Of written words to convey
All within of stories to be told
For others to feel and share
Of just another searching soul
Experienced while existing here
Circle in a Square
Life is like a circle in a square
We know not its presence although it is there
Beginnings of the things evolved by command
Of a Creator’s Wisdom and magnificent plan
He shaped a form out of clay to be born
With a sun in the sky to know dusk from the dawn
The decision to create a unique kind of race
As an appointed Vicegerent, nature takes place
To work the land and to rule on this earth
A duty imposed received with great mirth
A purpose to exist as a spirit that’s free
With submission of self as a sole entity
An exchange to be given to be fruitful and to bear
With blessings of love without pain or despair
Suddenly, a Being of Flame, thought itself better
Created deception thinking it was clever
Trying to hide to confuse the new soul
To open the eyes seeking mysteries to unfold
Increasing desires of lust, fortune and fame
Realizing nakedness and feelings of shame
Then time passes on, like distance of space
The man of the Creator has fallen from grace

About the Author
Javaire Kemper was born and raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey. She is a single-parent of two daughters. Throughout her life she has written poems, prose and rhymes of a rap-like style known on the hip hop circuit sometimes referred to "Slam Poetry." She shares her thought provoking writings reflective of her personal experiences, philosophical perspectives and sometimes controversial views in her first published book allowing us to share inner visions of her mind.
