Some individuals go through life searching for that “special milestone”
that they think will make them happy
or at least complete them in one way or another.
Some individuals depend on others to fulfill their emptiness;
others go through life feeling unfulfilled and never satisfied.
Some individuals substitute the void by using
money, drugs, or women/men to find a temporary high in life.
In contrast, I have lived my life like a caterpillar securely nested in a cocoon
protected by my simplicity and unknowingness.
I can say I have lived this way until now.
Yet I have discovered myself and realize what I deserve in life.
Finally, I can say that I have changed as an individual
and have grown into a beautiful butterfly
that just recently got its wings, in search
of freedom and the happiness I deserve.…
