Another day starts for Riichard Shunk, Executive Deputy President at First Galaxy Bank.  Riichard loved walking the hallways, greeting the underlings as he made his way to the cafeteria to get his morning tea.  As a Senior Executive at a Major Financial Institution, Riichard believed everyone loved him and was in awe of him.

He gave everyone his most sincere-appearing greeting every morning:

Perfect posture, forward-leaning body language, head held high, brisk walking pace, big winning smile, topped off with a hearty “Good moorrnnning!  How ARE you?”

He had one of his secretaries keep count and his record for one trip to the cafeteria was 38 “Good moorrnnnings!”  That was the day the Building 3 Café was shut down, forcing everyone to walk to the cafe in Building 7 where Riichard had his office.  Riichard thought they were there to get one of his “Good moorrnnnings!”

Riichard believed that “Butts In Seats,” First Galaxy’s daily measurement of total attendance had improved because of his greetings.  Thus, Riichard believed he was responsible for all achievements in the First Galaxy Global Headquarters Complex.  What leadership!  What influence!  What an impacting executive!

“Vikkie! Come in my office,” Riichard announced as he burst into his office suite upon returning from the café.

“Good morning Riich.  What’s up?”

“I am so excited.  But first, look at these,” Riichard said proudly.

Vikkie (everyone else called her Victoria, but Riichard used Vikkie because he liked to show how close he was to his staff) looked puzzled.

“These.” Riichard squealed, showing off his newly monogrammed shirt cuffs.  He had both cuffs and the shirt pocket monogrammed with a bold “RAS.”  Now that’s class, thought Riichard.

“Oh, you got your shirt monogrammed,” Vikkie noticed.  “Is that one of the new shirts you got at Sym’s Basement?”

“Yes, yes it is.  What a great buy.  The shirts were marked down to $19.95 from $129.95.  I know because they had red cross-outs on the original price.
