About the Book

A Path Well Worn is a book of poetry, which shares both the joy and sadness that we may experience throughout our lives.  Each heartfelt poem offers the reader a moment to recall past moments in their lives that directly affect who they are today.

Each poem has been illustrated for the reader’s further enjoyment.  The illustrations reflect the various styles of art genre that are present through individual interpretation.   

About the Author

Having been born and raised in Wisconsin, I choose to call the Midwest my home.  I am currently living in Blue Bell, PA away from my two wonderful daughters who remain in Wisconsin.  My love and gift for writing was something I did not share with my friends and family at first.  In my mind, my poems and short stories were just words upon paper that only I would enjoy.  It was not until a friend convinced me otherwise and I have now been published in over 10 anthologies in both the United States and Europe. The International Library of Poetry has since nominated me as amateur poet of the year for four years running.  Much of my poetry can be found on the Internet as well. 

My desire to write poetry is inspired through my faith in Christ and by friends I have made around the world.  My motivation for writing is the hope to illustrate, through written words, the multitude of life experiences and lifestyles that exist within the world today.  To share poems that reflect real life situations, whether the experience has been good or bad, will help others to realize that life has much to offer. We learn to deal with what we face in life, knowing that God will never put in front of us more than we can handle.
