The diaries, two, were written after each mission by Sgt. Jackson. Sgt Jackson used clippings from a military paper covering the mission of many brave men that flew in the B-17’s from England, which included him. In many of the missions, he included what they are before they left on their missions. In reading, you get wrapped up in the mission, and can almost feel you are with him.

About the Author

The contents of this book are the true. The contents were taken from the diaries that Sgt. Oliver L. Jackson had kept during Word War II. Sgt. Jackson was my father and never talked much of the war. Sgt. Jackson retired with over 20 years of service. The two diaries were found about 8 years after his death. After I graduated from high school, I did four years with the Air Force. As of 1971, I have been a trucker.
