About the Book

Dirt Beneath My Feet is a book of sharing.  Its poems and photographic compositions share words and images relating to the quaternity elements of life, soul, and the phenomena of how we each touch and are touched along life’s path.  From the haunting introductory section of “Shadow People” to the concluding narrative poem Second Coming Mechanic, the author uses simple, direct dialogue to capture images, feelings, and inner thoughts.  Dirt Beneath My Feet is a uniquely reader-friendly work of poetry.  It has large print, generous text spacing, a sense of format solitude, and reader reflection pages for personal notes.  The author shares insight and inspiration for his poetry by including brief comments at the beginning of each chapter.
