“Looking for Love in All the Wrong Places”. It’s funny how two men came into Candice’s life during a time when she was going through something. The first one Steve, who started out for his gain ended up changing his mind and becoming just a friend to Candice. He told her that he couldn’t live with himself if he were to pursue anything other than friendship. He had a lot of respect for her and her marriage. Bernard, who was also Candice friend and willing to take it further, didn’t hesitate to pursue her. He liked her a lot and felt very comfortable with her. He wanted a more intimate relationship. Candice was happy that he just wanted to be with her.
Candice sat alone night after night praying to God for Love. She wanted peace in her heart. She knew that this was not what she wanted, but didn’t know what else to do. She didn’t understand why God would not answer her prayers. Sometimes God has to take us through a process so we can see things from another angle. God works in his own time. He allows the devil to test us to see where our faith is in Him. God says in His word;
Proverbs 3:5 NKJ
“ Trust in the Lord with all your heart And lean not on your own understanding”.
When we lean on the Lord, he will see us through. God doesn’t want us to always understand why things happen in the world. He wants us to trust him in everything we do and in everyway we feel. He wants us to have a joyous life and stay focus on him. God takes us through things. It’s a test to see if we can pass it. He leads us into the temptation, but is there to see us through. He always brings us through and when he does, we have a testimony to tell someone else. You have to remember that God knows our comings and goings. He knows our wants and our hearts. He knew us and what our lives were going to be like since we were in the womb. He created us.

About the Book
This story is about a woman who has endured much hurt from men in her life. First, there was her father who separated from her mother when she was a child. She did not receive the love that she should have over the years. She didn’t know what it felt like to have a fathers love. Then there was her husband, Mason. Mason and Candice were married for years. unhappy, but stayed together. Candice met Steve one day and found a true friend, except Candice wanted more than friendship from him she wanted true love.
Candice then met Bernard one day at church. They became close friends, able to share conversations about life. Then one day that friendship developed into a closer relationship that neither one of them wanted. After they went through their trials and tribulations, both of them finally found the Lord. Candice found and decided to follow God’s word and apply it to her life. Mason and Candice stuck it out through all of their trails and tribulations. Marriage was hard and feelings were hurt, but they made it happen and didn’t give up and now they are very happy together.
Bernard also put God first and was no longer lusting for someone else. Bernard found out what God was trying to tell him all along
After several obstacles, Mason and Candice found their way back together again. They are now leading their lives with God on their side. Nicole and Carl had true love and showed how their love could withstand anything. They continue to walk with the Lord and Kimberly, You just have to read and find out.
