GOD BLESS
When the weight of the world is on our shoulder,
And we seem to be bogged down in the muck and clay,
Enemies coming at us from all directions,
Friends and loved ones disappearing before our eyes,
Quicker than a lightening flash,
The World Trade Center, was nothing but ash.
We’re a proud Nation, United We Stand.
God Bless American, Our Beautiful Land.
We will not give up, United we stand.
They tried to take away our dignity,
because we are the land of the free,
The road might be rough and rocky,
but we are strong, steadfast, and refuse
to give up.
In God we have our faith, and United We Stand,
May God Bless
The Volunteer’s toiled night and day,
but the hurt and pain just won’t go away,
We could see that they were getting very weary,
toiling through mounds of steel and clay,
searching for loved ones alive today.
Their grueling task seem to be in vain,
and on Friday, down came the rain.
To day I’m neither black, white, nor other,
Just a weary soul looking for my brother.
God Bless

For me poetry is a means of sharing lives, joy as well as sorrows and other experiences with others. Sometimes a kind word or a simple touch can make a world of difference to someone thats, probably having a bad day, feel that they have no reason for living, or simply lost their way.

I’ve been told that I have unique writing talent with a artistic vision. Life Is Like A Boomerang, was written as a contest entry, in the search for a cure for Multiple Sclerosis, endorsed by Montel Williams, a donation from each entry was to be used to help research find a cure.
My sister, Mattie wrote these words of encouragement to me for my fifthy birthday. Dear sis, “Cast Your Faith To The Winds’, follow your dreams, when you include God in your business plans nothing is impossible, may the rest of your life be the best of your life”. Taking charge of my thoughts, this is my destiny.
