Those little tots they know what ‘s what What ‘s what, they learned from you They don ‘t forget a single thing Amazing ! but it ‘s true Beyond belief how they can store A book of knowledge in their heads They’re just little tots Who hate to go to bed So, goes your life they mimic it They practice all day through Your little clone you hope to be Exactly, just like you Those little wheels are turning They’re spinning all the time Their mind, sweeps like a magnet Where nothing’s left behind You never know they listen On what you do and say It goes inside that memory book So carefully tucked away And when the time arises They’ll flip a page within The answer ‘s there-in black and white Dumbfounded ! they’re right, you’re wrong again So don ‘t ever cross those little tots They’re educated too They ‘ll tell you what ‘s what and what ‘s not Then send “you,” off to school

About the Book
I started writing poetry when I became a Widow quite early in life. After receiving my Silver Award I ''ve been writing poetry off and on ever since. Having no teaching in Literature or writing of any kind this Silver Award came as quite a surprise, which inspired me to try and do more. I took it upon myself to take the challenge and have done quite well so far. My poems are very simple coming deep within my heart and may the Readers find them enjoyable and perhaps bring a little tear or smile along the way. This is my first “Publishing one''s own Book” and now, up in my Octogenarian years this comes as quite an undertaking but, I try to relish all of it as I go along. I think poetry and music have so much in common. As you read you''ll notice a little rhyme and rhythm through out my poetry.
