My Horse Volando

About the Book

This is a book about a horse named Volando Hollywood. He came from a famous blood line. His mothers name was Nell and his fathers name was George. His grandfather was a world champion roping horse.

Volando was well trained to rope and ride. I bought him from my sister Lou, with option to buy back. I owned him for five years.

Volando was a fun horse to have in the family. My children Mike, Barry, & Bryne loved to ride him on the farm & ranch where we lived, in Oklahoma. He bucked them off if they rode him double. He wanted only single rides.

I was inspired to write about our experiences together because he was such a unique horse.

About the Author

Pat Rich, author of Volando Hollywood, was born and raised in Bokchito, Oklahoma and still lives in Bokchito, where she completed her high school education.

After high school she continued her education at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.  She received a Bachelors in education and a masters degree in Psychology.

Pat loves working in the Church and serving God.  She enjoys family time with her grandchildren.  Her husband James Rich, is a retired mail carrier and rancher.  Pat and James have three sons  Mike, Barry, Bryne and eight grandchildren.

Pat was the owner of  Volando Hollywood and wrote a childern’s book about her experiences with him.

This is her second published book, she has many more to publish in the future.  She believes that her writings are a god given talent
