About the Book

This book starts out with a boy that is a small time thief that cares about nothing except himself.  He thinks he is on top of the world and life is just the way he wants it.  He gets caught and is forced to join the army.  All this happens with the September eleventh tragedy happening in the background and those events force him to become a man with honor.  It is a story about self-development and it makes the reader realize the hardships that one has to go through just to become a soldier in the United States Army, and the heroes of America aren’t just the soldiers but everyone that supports them also.

The book has romance, action, and it gets into the mind of a person that is forced to look at himself and make a change.

About the Author

Don Anthony is a man that has lived the stories that he writes. His goal is to touch lives and have people feel the true emotions that are in the stories through the words in his books.

Adventure has always been the way of life for him. From trying daredevil stunts as a child, (That usually landed him in the Emergency Room for stitches, and the warning not to try the stunt again. Even that didn’t keep him from trying again after he healed up) to fighting for his country in the war torn land of Iraq.

He was a Golden Gloves boxer, a factory worker, a commodities broker, and a construction worker.  He has held jobs and owned businesses that required him to have the blue collar and the white collar look.

He joined the army and served his country honorably in Operation Iraqi Freedom, where he received two Army Commendation medals, one with valor.

He is still an adrenaline junky.  He spends his time rock climbing and repelling,  everything from cliff diving to drag racing.  He loves writing.  He loves telling a story that motivates and moves his readers.  He lives for conquering the untried and sharing it in the books he writes.
