Their paths collide and they are swept away in a firestorm of volcanic sex, denial, and hatred that threatens their lives, and the people they love.
About the Author
Paul Bennett is a father of four sons, two of whom he raised as a single parent since 1988. He was high school sophomore class vice president, High Teens Club President, Senior Chairman of the Special Student Committee, and earned all league honors in football and track. He attended college and received a B.A. in Sociology, with an education minor.
During his senior high school year he became the lead singer of the Blue Satins Dance and Show Band, however, his writing spirit was touched long before this as some of his gift for writing surfaced in elementary and junior high school. While attending college he wrote “Can You Hear Him Cry” a one man one act play, co-authored two class plays, and a collection of poetry that was presented in a musical montage on the local radio station, and in recent years several of his poems have appeared in The Source, a Humboldt State University publication, Voices of Life a Los Angeles newspaper magazine, and three of his poems appear in the 2003 release of the acclaimed novel by Marissa Montielh entitled The Chocolate Ship. Paul has also written two soon to be published books of poetry entitled A Friend Made Me Remember, and For the Love and Lover In You. Other unpublished works include Vengeance is Mine, The Other Side of the Gun, The Mercenary, The Symbol, and he is working on his first screenplay entitled First Assassin.
