The Snow Child
Someone once said that Poetry must speak, from the heart in order to speak to the heart.
Something simply said is not so simply done, but Diana Dean accomplishes just that with her inspirational verses. She motivates both mind and heart to ponder the things that make up our daily lives and to put them into a balanced perspective. Her American Dream presents powerful thoughts in a beautiful simplicity that speaks from her heart to ours. Well done.

*Passion-passion and gut feelings that''s what goes into the renderings of Diana Dean’s poetry. One can not read through a line or a stanza without thinking how beautifully her thoughts are expressed. The gamut of her subject matter hits home for even the most casual reader of poetry, making readers ask; ''How could she have known that''s what I too was thinking.'' More and more over the years as I follow her works my amazement and admiration for her talent grows. She is an award winning poet and many more awards will follow. Her works are meant to entertain and set one to thinking. Enjoy them all as much as I have over the years.

About the Author
Diana C. Dean, who is also the author of, What’s Nana Cooking, which launched her writing career. Also Volume 2, Nana’s At It Again will be out this year. My wish is that everyone who reads this book of poetry will find it enjoyable and stimulating. Let the lines of the verses transport you to another world and enjoy the passionate lines of the love that influenced me to pen my innermost feelings. Every word written was inspired by special friends, family, and the things in life I’ve loved and hold dear to my heart.
As a child I was always interested in writing poetry, I would sit alone and just let my deep feelings come out. One day I was motivated and encouraged by a couple of my writer friends. I wanted and needed to do something for myself, along with simple pleasures such as a walk on a sunny day, be it brisk or fairly warm to the body. My grandchildren , the sea, and the many loves in my life all contributed to my longing to express myself on paper. I now desire to share these pleasures with as many readers as time and space permits. My hopes is that these simple words composed with sincerity will bring the imagery I had to your mind and soul. My poetry are words of beauty and bravery. Let the words touch your heart, challenge your mind, and above all else, let them bring a smile to your face and heart.
